I am Damaris, a midwife turned postpartum doula supporting mums (and their families) to experience a nurturing and calm postpartum that optimises their recovery and wellbeing, breastfeeding and bonding with their beautiful newborn baby.
After my midwifery studies in Germany, I worked as a private midwife supporting families through pregnancy, hospital and home birth, postpartum and beyond, before moving to Australia and starting to work as a doula.
With over 8 years of experience in the maternal space, I had the privilege of guiding countless families through the transformative post-birth period.
My approach is to support the physiology (of the mum and the newborn) to optimise recovery, breastfeeding and bonding.
My goal is to help you create your postpartum oasis so that you can thrive in these early weeks and months after birth and that you, your baby, your partner (and family) will have a peaceful start to your new life together.
