Postpartum Belly Massage

Congratulations on the (upcoming) birth of your baby.

I am so glad you are here to learn how you can look after yourself and your recovery from birth.

Belly Massage is one of my favourite ways to support a new mum in her postpartum healing and well-being. Watch the video below to learn more about uterus recovery, how belly massage can support the natural healing processes after birth and how to perform a belly massage. You can do a self massage but I would like to encourage you to ask someone to do it for you, at least in the first two weeks. Make sure you watch the video with them so they know how to best support you.

1- Educational Part

2- Belly massage instructions (6:35min)

As I mention in the video, aim for a daily belly massage of 5 minutes. If you have time for more, please feel free to do it for as long as possible.
